A virus starts in a small town, the government learns about it and wants to suppress it, whats the first thing they do?

We have spent 90 quadrillion dollars on the military since 1980. If this isnt a time to mobilize their asses, when is?
Food supply, medical research, medical supplies. All things that can be done under the supervision of our top military officials.
Why are we relying on Google and Amazon and Kmart during the deadliest virus in 100 years instead of the Army, the Navy, Air Force and Marines?
At LEAST use their knowledge of planning and strategy and mobilization of supplies. I am hearing horror stories of JAred bringing in 20 year old fucknuts from the private sector trying to respond to a historic crisis.
Im just sad watching what is happening knowing we have 8 more months of this before we can even start taking this seriously.
