should you contract the virus and need hospitalization. Maybe not a total cure, but you won't die. Life-saving treatment seems to be a more immediate, attainable goal than a vaccine.
A real president would be working with our allies to coordinate a global effort to find such a treatment. Such a coordination is needed so that we are not duplicating efforts, that we're selecting representative samples to test the treatments on, that promising results are subjected to peer reviews, that necessary resources are shared, and plans are put into place to roll out a treatment once discovered.

(9,952 posts)pain and problems I am hearing just getting the thing. Death is not the only downside. But I hear you on this. This is how I see it. The more time they have to get to know the virus, the better they will treat it.
