The first one is shocking and is memorable for that alone. I think that's the main point of a meme.

The second one is amazingly persuasive in a positive way.

Mask to mask, gloves, and social distancing is what it will take until cures/vaccines/accurate rapid testing are widely available. It's not that difficult, but the idiocy of people in protesting these is immense. These same idiots will cause us to go back to shelter-in-place in a few months is my guess. These memes get right to the point.
