The stat that will sink Trump, showing clearly that his response to the pandemic has been a "chaotic disaster," as Obama termed it, is a comparison of the results of the world's response compared to ours. Basically, with 4% of the population we've had over 25% of the deaths.
Let's hammer this home!
All but the fiercely deluded will see and understand that and vote both Trump and his enabling Republicans out of office in November.

Checking the numbers this a.m. I came up with the following, which I consider consistent with the above:
There are 7.6 billion people in the world, 330.7 million live in the United States. or 4.4%
The world's death count as of this morning was 286 thousand. In the U.S. it stands at 81.8 thousand, or 28.6%

We are gonna pass the # of dead from WW I (116,000) with the # of dead from C-19 shortly.

4% population and 25% deaths is accurate and politically devastating.
Trump could respond with a per capita number, but he has to acknowledge the 4% to 25%. And that number is a killer politically.
