Trump wanted a victory event. It ended when he stalked off after clashing with two female reporters.

As President Trump flashed a quick tight-lipped smile from the steps of the White House overlooking the Rose Garden on Monday, it looked like a victory lap of sorts was underway.

Two giant banners bearing the words ďAMERICA LEADS THE WORLD IN TESTINGĒ in all-caps were suspended from the White House columns. Testing machines and kits to detect the novel coronavirus had been carefully arranged on wooden tables flanking the presidentís lectern, which was set against a backdrop of American flags.

But the orchestrated opportunity for the president to boast about his administrationís efforts to ramp up testing backfired. Instead of reassuring Americans and being a celebratory event, the roughly hour-long news conference ended with Trump shutting down reportersí questions and abruptly leaving the Rose Garden following heated exchanges with two female journalists, including one who seemed to imply that he made a racially charged comment toward her.

Soon, the news conference was trending on social media ó for all the wrong reasons.

1. Poor Dear Leader Lysol once again the victim of the liberal conspiracy. Messed up his grift.

It must irritate that sick prick he can't have the press jailed or roughed up.

3. A Petulant Snit

This is what it looked like to me. Kinky Friedman once described his plans after losing a race for Texas Governor with these words. That floating Trump in a diaper is so close to reality, its scary.

2. Well no wonder!

Those pesky reporters kept asking inconvenient questions, raining all over Needy Amin's victory parade. When are they going to get with the program and realize that this is all about Donald J. Trump, his feelings, and his bottomless need for praise?

4. Pretty bad when a reporter questions the entire rationale behind those stupid banners

asking tRump why he is treating the death count like itís a contest. She pointed out just how disgusting and sick the premise behind those banners was - or should have been - to normal people.

5. Here's what a news headline written by Terry Pratchett would say concerning this:

"Pussy Grabber Kicked Inna Fork". Damn, I miss Terry...
