Must not be working on Fauci. I guess he doesn’t have any sketchy Russian financial deals or some sexual deviation to threaten him with exposure.

Yeah that is serious alright ... very serious!

Children are dying, it isn't just a bunch of useless old people and those with disabilities.

Note re: Being old. It used to be age 50 was old, then 55, then 60, then 62, now 65.

Yippee! I am not "old" yet!

Who else has noticed this *change* other than me?

I cannot tell you the worry I sense from his letter to me abt. this.

Good god!

She's been sick for awhile now (a few years) and was dx'd with this "syndrome".

It is so damn sad!

I don't give a damn abt. myself so much. I care more abt. others that still have a life to live as my days have been done for years now, its just a waiting game for me so I have no great fear for my personal self.

But children and others that have plenty to live for, plain unfair!

May the force be with everyone!

I think this is a disaster waiting to happen. Think about the cases they're seeing now when the entire school system is closed down in this country. What will happen when millions of students are back at school. trust me when I tell you there is NO way any school in this country has adequate space to socially distance students. I am very worried about this.

system here. In fact it is the only approved charter in the district. It worked out perfectly for her. It's not for everyone. But if the kiddo is organized and self starting it's great. They can listen to tutorials and lectures as many times as they need. There is also a lot more time for them to complete assignments. I wish your daughter luck. I am worried about being ordered back to work as well, even though I can perform 99% of my duties from my home.

"40 is the new 30, 50 is the new 40", etc until it morphs into utter ridiculousness.

A lot of it may just be wishful thinking and/or denial. Some of it is celebrity-inspired with a lot of help from the makers of botox and other products. (These things were not available--or affordable by the masses-- until more recently.) There's also a rather recent realization that we can take matters into our own hands to combat age-related effects and illness. Everything from use of sunscreen to diet and exercise come into play. This last category may have been available for a long time but it's now much more widely known to make a big difference. I think all of these things combined help explain the ever-shifting definition of "aged".

Luckily, my husband was born in 1937. Is he not old enough *yet*?

I haul him around w/me on senior discount days. Are they going to tell an 83 year old Vet that he does not qualify? Will they?

Its all about money.

If you are under 65, no senior discount for YOU!

Die already those born after 1956! Hurry!

The dispensaries here went from 55 = discount.
Now many won't give a discount until 65.

They also do not honor holders of 215 cards anymore and the discount they used to give to holders that have a valid card (which they inspected and copied and looked at and reviewed and asked for more info. re: you and you finances btw) gave a discount.

Why bother to spend another $100 to renew something that is deemed useless?

They used the likes of me to get the weed legal for themselves while acting as if they gave a shit about those with a medical need. The only ones that were getting a discount had to have one of three conditions to qualify: 1. AIDS 2. CANCER 3. MS.

Once it was mission accomplished ON MY BACK mind you, they stop the whole thing now and zero for medical folks, including those with the three above named fatal conditions.

However, IF you buy a t-shirt advertising their dispensary you get 10% off!
