The Republican Senator from Indiana; Fuck me!

He sat there and talked about the mistakes made back in February, Then he said I am tired of hearing people blame the administration, then he blamed the CDC, FDA, which is the administration, then he said how can we learn from these mistakes. It was complete gibberish. It was hard to follow.

I guess, he was trying to say mistakes were made, let's move on, hold no one accountable and learn from our mistakes.

Lamar definitely didn't want anyone pointing fingers during this hearing. He was pretty clear about that. Since only one party has held the presidency during this pandemic, it's wrong (Wrong!) to be pointing fingers. We can argue all day long about who disbanded the pandemic task force or shitcanned the pandemic response playbook, or slow-walked the urgency of the emerging situation, but the truth of the matter is that Covid-19 is now starting to spread in majority Republican areas, and Senate Republicans are feeling a little pressure from their constituents so now Something Needs To Be Done. Preferably without costing anything or making the armed terrorists demonstrating against the lockdown mad. Or making the president look like he utterly failed this test of his leadership. Oh, and if we could get some more tax cuts for the wealthy, that would be good.
