After watching the senate hearings today, my post from yesterday stands.
We are Fucked. The problem is Trump, until he is removed we are Fucked. Everyone can talk, debate, bullshit all they want. Trump is the problem.

4. McConnell is every bit as much the problem as Trump. Maybe even more. He is the enabler in chief.
Trump can only do what he does with Turtle backing him.

6. And the Attorney General, Bill Barr. Trump has the trinity all sewn up.
Doesn't the antichrist need a trinity just like the Good Guys?

7. I was thinking Barr also, but if Turtle had not enabled Trump all along, he would not have
been able to chose Barr. The part i dont get is Turtle's unholy hold on the GOP cult. Obviously there is a whole lot of corrupt financial stuff that they dont want to surface, but still...not a single one with a spine? EXcept the few who have left.

9. The russians gave money to all of the republican candidates, plus the governors, through
Lev Parnas and Igor what's-his-name? Furman? Plus other operatives who were in trump's circle at the time gave (bought) republican candidates.

11. I agree with this completely, and as a bonus . . . .
I think people around the country are getting that impression as well. I think the idea is starting to take root that in order to get rid of Republican policies that have gotten us into this mess, Republican control of the Senate has to go as well. I really do think that that sort of sentiment is spreading rapidly and may only get stronger between now and November. |

5. We have to hope we win in November and can survive until Feb
Hopefully he'll have everything ready to hit the ground running at 12:01 and get America back to itself.
trump will do absolutely nothing to help and we are on our own for nine months. |

8. Trump has no power without the GOP..
there is not one thing he has done, that has not been a GOP dream come true. There's a reason why we are here, and it isn't Trump. He probably doesn't know most of what he's signed his name to. Hillary was right, about the vast right-wing conspiracy. It's been going on for a long time.

10. Everyone should speak freely and honestly
Yeah, yeah, I know. Stupid title.
Very few would or are inclined to, since they are lickspittles and lackies (lackeys?) and sycophants. But, those few remaining who have even shred of dignity and integrity left should speak out. Show up for hearings. Heck, ask to be subpoenaed. They they speak. And speak. And speak. And watch the traitor fire. And fire. And fire. Fauci, Birx, Redfield (no integrity there), inspectors general. Or, more broadly, DOJ people, others in HHS. Etc., etc. What's the worst that can happen? They can be fired. That's it. No one is going to spend time in the metaphorical equivalent of Birmingham Jail. They would then be free to speak wherever, however, and as much as they want. And the ones with a shred of dignity left will find legitimate employment immediately. And even the Trumpists (or by then ex-Trumpists) will figure something out. These lickspittles mostly seem to land on their feet. |
