Am i wrong in my thinking that a SC decision favoring tRUMP would be

Making a statement that we no longer need the SC? If the president is KING his (her) decision would be final? Why in the world would they decide it for tRUMP at this stage of the game?

1. If you are referring to tax return case, I wouldn't put that much significance on

the ruling.

The question is whether the law requires him to provide his tax returns. I think the law should, but I’m not sure it does. Plus, I don’t think his tax returns will do us much good at this point, other than show he doesn’t make as much as he claims. We already know that.

If this asshole is declared above the law and can act by fiat, there’s nothing to stop them from dismantling the entire setup.

the only positive I can see coming out of Trump's total disregard for human life is a united electorate (forget his amoral slobbering nazi sychophants) ...we're not going to hear the both parties are the same bullshit..this time this vote is about revenge...

Precedent will be set only for Republicans. SCOTUS ruled against Clinton, but rules for Drumpt. It's Bush V. Gore playing out again. Rules are different for Dems.

5. A ruling to deny the request/s would lower the court's status as an independent branch of government

Roberts know this...such a ruling would diminish the Court's power and ability to remain independent from the Executive. If the President can defy a Congressional subpeona, he can also defy a Judicial request or order.

And I can just about guarantee you that if these subpoenas were made to The Donald instead of the banks and Mazars, he WOULD defy the order if SCOTUS ruled against him.

6. My complaint is timeliness. How can these cases drag on for years until they are no longer relevant?

We need a system to fast track some of these cases.

It does the Nation no good to enforce a law AFTER the Administration is over.

Justice delayed is Justice denied.
