Two men caught on video breaking a Target employee's arm after he asked the shoppers to wear a mask

A security guard was left with a broken arm following a physical confrontation with two men who refused to wear masks inside a Target in Van Nuys.

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A security guard was left with a broken arm following a physical confrontation with two men who refused to wear masks inside a Target in Van Nuys.

The incident on May 1 started when a group of four security guards were escorting two men out of the store, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A physical confrontation ensued when one of the two men turned out and started hitting one of the guards, which was captured on surveillance video.

One of the guards suffered a broken arm. Additional details on his condition were not immediately available.

The suspects, who are believed to be homeless, left the store but were arrested this weekend, according to Lt. Jim Gavin.

masks are mandated where I live...I needed to make a barbecue potato chip run and I hit Target early yesterday morning...everyone was wearing masks...disposable, clothe, gators, bandanas, lots of decorative statement masks...no one complained..it was surreal and yet perfectly normal...

the other day and it's just depressing how entitled people are about public health safety. We've mostly been really good here in CA about this stuff, but the nutbags are wigging out.

I watched a 22 minute video of a woman pissed at Trader Joe's (!) because they wanted her to wear a mask while shopping. And, really, who in their right mind would think TJ's would be OK with that?
