Trump Tries To Hide Leaked Report Showing Virus Cases Surging
BY JASON EASLEY at PoliticusUSA
Trump Tries To Hide Leaked Report Showing Virus Cases Surging https://www.politicususa.com/2020/05/12/leaked-report-virus-surge.html "SNIP..... Trump is refusing to release a report that showed virus cases are surging in the country as the pandemic is spreading from coastal cities to the heartland and beyond. Via NBC News: The data in a May 7 coronavirus task force report are at odds with President Donald Trump’s declaration Monday that “all throughout the country, the numbers are coming down rapidly.” The 10 top areas recorded surges of 72.4 percent or greater over a seven-day period compared to the previous week, according to a set of tables produced for the task force by its data and analytics unit. They include Nashville, Tennessee; Des Moines, Iowa; Amarillo, Texas; and — atop the list, with a 650 percent increase — Central City, Kentucky. On a separate list of “locations to watch,” which didn’t meet the precise criteria for the first set: Charlotte, North Carolina; Kansas City, Missouri; Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; Minneapolis; Montgomery, Alabama; Columbus, Ohio; and Phoenix. The rates of new cases in Charlotte and Kansas City represented increases of more than 200 percent over the previous week. ......SNIP"

12. All those "unknown" entries tell the whole story
Tests are still unavailable. Outreach is nil. Protective equipment is spotty and much of it ineffective for civilians. Unemployed people have lost insurance and are toughing it out at home and the whole country is near breaking point as the isolation has cost mental health, marriages and the economy while the dogmatists and incompetents at the top denied, dithered, and did nothing.

2. So who are we to believe?..
The President of the United States, the leader of the free world, the head of the greatest nation on the planet, the man who holds the same office as Roosevelt, Kennedy and Obama?
Or some lame "corona task force"? not sure if I need to add ![]() |

20. It wasn't that much of a problem for his re-election chances when large metropolitan coastal areas
in blue states were the hardest hit, but now that it's spreading into red, rural areas deep in America's heartland, where Trump's voting base lives, he has to hide the facts. Trump realized this will turn enough of his followers against him, so he did the only thing he knows: lie, stonewall and obstruct.
