intentionally, but I don't think he's trying to kill people as much as he just doesn't care. Other people aren't real to him unless they are directly interacting with him (and barely then). We citizens aren't any more real than those little green army men kids used to play with except to the extent we can be manipulated to vote for him. What's important to Trump is how it all looks - mostly to him. He is throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks, and "sticking" means only positive optics. He will say anything that he wants to be true because he thinks he can make people believe whatever he says (and some of the more hopeless MAGAts will believe him), and those things are whatever he thinks can get him re-elected. If a lot of people die (which he will deny anyhow), he won't care as long as he can control a false narrative.
