Anyone that wants a test can get one. He said this twice now. In what you could call a two month delayed response and then again yesterday that ANYONE could get a test if they wanted one. Lied both times and then was corrected , by the Admiral, ....ONLY THOSE WITH SYMPTOMS AND MEET THE CRITERIA CAN GET A TEST. ASYMPTOMATIC, that have proven to be carriers are NOT allowed tests.Link to tweet
He does not want us tested. Period. I have no clue how he thinks he can cover this all up.

for every individual who wants one. And, I know first hand as a result of a friend who is still hospitalized that the tests arent reliable. He was tested three times and wasnt confirmed as positive until he was intubated.

(83,740 posts)A Democratic hoax that now he is being tested for daily as is the VP and all that come into his office. Staffers are required now to wear masks, when only the other day he demanded that a member of the press remove their mask if they wanted to ask him a question.
I am so very sorry about your friend, lll. I hope he pulls through.

(28,787 posts)you can now be tested if you have been exposed. thankfully. it wasn't always this way.
oh yeah, and it's no thanks to trump. Governor Cooper and his team are following the science. more diplomatically than i would be, but at least they are. the propaganda pushing an instant reopening is everywhere and the media reports on it to a fault.

(31,382 posts)With any luck, Cooper will tell the Republican National Committee, sorry, no in person convention here for Republicans in August.

(28,787 posts)the amount of pushback he'll get. So far he has not backed off his insistence on these decisions being data based, but the pressure on him is enormous and republicans still have both houses in the GA. NC republicans are among the very worst.

(205,185 posts)This is in the state capital - Albany. She and her assistant both were tested because they thought they should since they're seeing patients with current dental issues, both tested negative. Since I don't have symptoms, I chose to pass - she said it costs $89.

(64,995 posts)...I know of nowhere within 30 miles where we could get tested.
And we only live 60 miles from downtown Chicago.
Illinois is only testing 12-18,000 per day. There's 12.5 million of us.
That's a rate of 833 days to test everyone here, ONCE!!
And it's now the middle of May, not late February.
