Yesterdays Senate hearing convinced me Trump will get trounced this November.
All the ideas, advice, suggestions I heard at the hearing, were already given to Trump over and over again. He ignored them. He will continue to ignore them.
When it comes to the pandemic, Trump completely failed and that cannot be fixed. Instead of taking advice, actually working for a few minutes a day to try to limit the damage, he is in full cover up mode. That will not work. This virus, the death toll will not go away before November. It will probably get worse.
The same goes for the economy. Because he handled the pandemic so badly, the economy took a massive hit and it will not be able to recover before November. It may get worse.
Trump is too mentally ill to handle this crisis. His mental illness has led him to becoming delusional. He truly believes some magical event is going to take place and the virus will disappear and then the economy will come roaring back. I believe Trump should be committed to a mental institution. He definitely needs to be put on some type of medication for his delusions.
As I watched the hearing, as I listened to the head of the CDC, FDA, I could see how helpless they were. You can tell they are getting no guidance, leadership, which can only come from a president. Instead of showing leadership, Trump has castrated our government agencies. He doesn't listen to them.
Good people at the CDC must have spent weeks putting together a very detailed plan on how to safely reopen the economy, which is Trumps goal. When they gave the plan to Trump, he tossed it in the garbage can. He is extremely mentally ill.
Trump will not change what he is doing because it is being caused by mental illness. Things will get worse, not better.
By the time November gets here, the American people will be exhausted, completely fed up with Trump. They will vote for change in a big way. I don't even think Trumps cheating can save him now.
