After voting more than a dozen times to repeal the Affordable Care Act and leading Senate Republican efforts to dismantle it, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) said that the good news is that people can sign up for President Barack Obamas signature health care law if theyve lost their jobs and need health insurance amid the coronavirus pandemic, the HuffPost reports.
Said Cornyn: The good news is that if you lose your employer-provided coverage, which covers about a 180 million Americans, that is a significant life event, which makes you then eligible to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.

But you're correct. It would be downright rude to mention how flat-out, jaw-dropping, knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathingly stupid these fucking cretins truly are.

for all might get some life after americans realize how vulnerable the current employer based system makes them. That would explain the popularity of the ACA now. Didn't Barr warn Trump not to fight the ACA right now? But Trump wants to get rid of it because it was Obama's. Maybe the GOP gave Trump some bull**** reason why the ACA has to be undone when they fully had no intension of replacing it and now their hands are tied they can't give Trump the truth at this late time. But undoing the ACA, when 70% of americans want public health care, is risky. Especially if they fully intended not to replace it with anything.
