1. It will be interesting to listen to reason it is manifesting in little ones. They have fewer years,

so less exposure to things. I wonder why it is targeting this group, specifically.

kids seem to get it after they recover from Covid-19 infections.

It likely has something to do with the way their immune systems function.

I think I read that Kawasaki, historically, has been known to be occur with or after viral infection(s).

So could very well be a response to the antibodies.

That's one reason why I'm wary about an overly hasty production of a Trump vaccine.

There's just so much that we still don't understand about this virus.

3. Kawasaki is notoriously difficult to diagnose.

It could be COVID presents symptoms common to Kawasaki. We need more data.

11. Interesting tidbit.

We were in Hong Kong during SARS and my son was 5. In the month or so before the alarm was sounded about SARS, my son had a weird virus that presented itself as Kawasaki Disease. It was never confirmed. He had fever and the rashes on his hands and feet among other symptoms. I never thought anything about it until now. When you live in Asia kids get weird intestinal and respiratory viruses all the time. So, of course, we thought nothing of it.
