Coronavirus in the U.S.: Where cases are growing and declining

The coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 has settled into the United States, with cases reported in all 50 states and in Puerto Rico. Here are the regions where cases and deaths are either decreasing or increasing the most, based on the last seven days compared to the previous week.

Over the course of April and into early May, the numbers hovered around 25,000 new cases per day, which indicates that the U.S. is riding steady in its peak. New cases are beginning to decline in hard hit areas such as New York City. But the steady overall tally for the nation means spikes are occurring elsewhere.

I fear that under reporting will skew the results.
We need to look at other sources than just officially reported cases.
