President Obama is making sure our future will be a good one. His speech tonight may well be as important as John Kennedy’s famous words in his inauguration speech, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”

President Obama will inspire the largest graduating class in history tonight. The class of 2020.

1. don't be afraid -- new generatins learn from past mistakes

2. do what you think is right -- doing what's easy and convenient, is what little kids do -- hard work, generostity, fairness, listen to the truth inside yourself

3. build a community -- no one does things by themselves, especially through difficult times; to defeat the difficulties ahead, stand up for each other, leave behind the old prejudices of status, greed; our foundation will provide help and connection to other leaders like you; you don't need us because in so many ways you've already started to lead.

Obama gave one of his first commencement addresses to Kenwood back in the day when he was an IL senator!

Even when students head back to school after this dark time, this should remain the way to graduate -- nationally, to feel a part of something Big, New, Important -- better than the local ceremony.

Or do both, because hugs, presents and parties are important.
