And what does DU think of it? I've run into their advertising recently and was wondering, "what are they? who are they? and what do they stand for?"

The media outlet is primarily known for promoting far-right politicians across Europe and the United States, and in particular for its promotion of U.S. President Donald Trump; a 2019 report showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertising after the Trump campaign. The group's news sites and YouTube channels have spread conspiracy theories such as QAnon and anti-vaccination propaganda.

Not many apps that keep time in 32 bits will be a problem by then. We can probably deal with the breakage unless something like MAD is implemented that way.
We're talking about UNIX Epoch time right?

From wikipedia
Unix time (also known as Epoch time, POSIX time,[1] seconds since the Epoch,[2] or UNIX Epoch time[3]) is a system for describing a point in time. It is the number of seconds that have elapsed since the Unix epoch, minus leap seconds; the Unix epoch is 00:00:00 UTC on 1 January 1970. Leap seconds are ignored,[4] with a leap second having the same Unix time as the second before it, and every day is treated as if it contains exactly 86400 seconds.[2] Due to this treatment, Unix time is not a true representation of UTC.
If you don't use enough digits in computer time (64 bits instead of 32 bits) it wraps in 2038. It's the next y2k kind of bug after this years mini-event (it's what drives some of the Cobol stories you might have seen).
What happens is like an odometer wrapping from 99999 to 00000, except in this case it's in binary.

(843 posts)8. Epoch Times is a righwing print and online publication.
They specialize in 'investigative journalism' that only presents one side in a completely slanted and biased way.
