Lindsey shows yet again that he's a fucking hypocrite

I fucking hate this guy

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said the Senate would work to confirm a Supreme Court nominee this year if a vacancy arises, saying the circumstances are different from 2016, when Republicans blocked then-President Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland.

Graham, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, noted that both the Senate and the White House are held by Republicans, versus in 2016, when the GOP-held Senate denied Garland a hearing.

"Well, Merrick Garland was a different situation. You had the president of one party nominating, and you had the Senate in the hands of the other party. A situation where you've got them both would be different. I don't want to speculate, but I think appointing judges is a high priority for me in 2020," Graham said in an interview on "Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren" set to air Sunday.

"If you look into the history of the country, there had not been an occasion where somebody was confirmed in a presidential election year after primary started when you had divided government," he added.

The hypocrisy and maneuvering of these Repubs is remarkable. I can’t watch the Sunday am shows, not good for my blood pressure.

He rode McCain's coattails as long as possible, literally till death.

Now he has a NEW alpha (Putin, who has some VERY incriminating video of Lindsey in knee pads, AND with his ass in the air - SOME PEOPLE SAY - NOT that there is anything wrong with wearing knee pads OR having your ass in the air it is the HYPOCRISY), and Putin's sock puppet, the turd.

The turd is a poor substitute for Pootie, but hey, you play with the cards you been dealt.

and integrity at face value. My assumption is that they don’t possess either trait, and to convince me otherwise would take a lot of hard work—lasting months and years.

I hadn’t thought much of Lindsey Graham since he was a congressman trying to impeach Bill Clinton for far lesser offenses than the current occupant of the White House has committed. My opinion of him hasn’t changed.

about filling a SC vacancy this year. He responded, "I would fill it."

The Republicans believe that they are immune to any negative reactions to such behavior. They are probably right......
They will be completely beyond the reach of justice as long as they hold the Senate and the Presidency.

We have to change that.

Make it so they can never pack the court again.

And get rid of lifetime tenure. There should be no lifetime jobs in the US government. There should be a time limit. Yeah that may bite us in the ass but I think lifetime appointments breed arrogance.

Ummmm, how is that any different than a president appointing a Supreme Court Justice during a re-election year with a Senate of the opposite party?
