The Daily Dread - Tracking the spread, 5/17/20

All times Pacific, source: Johns Hopkins/NBC News

Maybe it's just the weekend... but this is the first such data I've seen all day.

At 2:18pm
Confirmed cases US - 1,489,567
Deaths US - 90,140

We're at NINETY-THOUSAND deaths. Actually somewhat beyond it by now.

NINETY-THOUSAND.

It's almost unimaginable. But not to 90-thousand-PLUS loved ones who are now in mourning and can't even hug each other.

The "excess death" rate becomes a very good statistic with higher numbers.

Even tho this administration doesn't want to label COVID-19 deaths as such these will be counted.

Trump's Pandemic of 2019.

Let's hope it's the last disaster he causes.
