trump pivots in Covid Blame Game. It's now YOUR fault, America!

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/05/18/politics/trump-us-death-toll-blame-reopen/index.html

Two of President Donald Trump's top officials are now pointing the finger at the administration's own scientists and Americans' pre-existing health conditions to explain the country's world-leading Covid-19 death toll.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar suggested Sunday that underlying health conditions, including among minorities, were one reason for the high American death toll -- nearly 90,000 as of Sunday evening. And Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro added the government's own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to its list of scapegoats alongside China and the Obama administration.

The White House has been escalating its effort to recast the narrative of its own chaotic response to the crisis as it aggressively pushes to reopen the country, a process vital to the fortunes of millions of people who have lost their jobs in lockdowns and its own political prospects in November.

What ever happened to the phenomenal health care plan that was going to cover more people for a lot less money? He said details would be released nine months ago.

The Grotesque Orange Pustule is not alone in his insanity; he has an entire party in the same condition.

I'd be willing to bet almost all Republicans think that this would have been better if only we'd cut more taxes for the wealthy, deregulated some more, and stopped Democrats from voting.

It's the American people's fault. Poor Trump. No wonder he is upset when some people expect the president of the United States to take some f**king responsibility for nearly a third of all global cases and deaths.

Catch a flu bug and die, refusing to co-operate with King Trump, yep, damn annoying!

Suggestion, Mr Trump:

Build a wall across the north end of Florida.

Make Mar-a-Lago your official and permanent place of residence/palace.

Evict all those in Florida too old, too young, too unfit.

Invite in healthy, young Republicans.

Live the good life behind your wall, and keep up the Tweet Storm to remind the rest of the USA how rotten, decadent and just plain evil they all are!

Declare yourself King in perpetuity. After all, Kim can do that, and you are so much better!

And keep reminding the Governors it's THEIR job to run THEIR state, not yours!

either live or die.
One state north and I would have expanded Medicaid. In NC, it's get a third job to pay $500 a month with a $9,000 deductible for catastrophic only. My mortgage was half that and I could barely afford it and that was when I was making more money during the Obama years.

Meanwhile, in other countries, they have access to healthcare already covered through their taxes, can go when they need to, AND their governments are giving them at least temporary UBIs to get through this.

Not our stingy government.

They cannot wait to dig deeper into our Social Security money, Medicare, and other programs to pillage more money to make more bombs, give their rich buddies gifts, or give tax cuts to the uber wealthy, but the thought of giving average American citizens a couple checks and they immediately start calling us freeloaders and talking about how it will leave a debt for our grandchildren.

Thing is, they've been using that children and grandchildren having a debt excuse long enough now that some of us are already the grandchildren they were talking about. They need to drop that excuse and quit calling us freeloaders and just get us through this. It would be cheaper in the long run, but noooo, they gotta stand around calling us freeloaders while they live off our tax dollars. We pay their salary and into Social Security for them to pilfer it to give to their rich buddies then turn around and tell us we don't deserve Social Security and that it is an entitlement.

Uhm, we pay that and their salaries. Have they forgotten that? No, they have made most Americans have Stockholm Syndrome and take abuse from our government for so long that WE have forgotten that. That's the real reason they get away with it. It's pretty bad when others have a give and take system with their governments, but our government sees us as roaches under their feet and we have an abusive situation where they treat us like serfs to fund their lavish gift giving to their rich donors.

He is such a finger pointing blowhard.

How did he make it through childhood without at least 10 swirlies a day? Why didn't they go ahead and drown him?

How can anyone stand to be around him? Does he hand out $100 bills or what?

I can't imagine anyone voluntarily being around him. Are they masochists, or what?

is that he was bullied significantly through school, which partially explains his presentation now. I'd guess he may have been bullied by Dad as well. Didn't the oldest son drink himself to death because he wasn't cut out to be what dear old Dad wanted? Donald probably realized pretty early on that standing up to Dad was not the way towards success and decided to become the anti-oldest boy ( I can't remember his name). Speculation of course, but that's my take. Although I'd bet money Donnie was NOT well-liked and was bullied a lot somewhere.
