2. What they are doing does not initially appear to be rational

in the sense that it does not seem to serve their self interest. But I think they value the feeling of belonging to that more than most people understand. These two entities thrive on chaos and divide. This is how they make their money. The driving force is to instill hatred in all conservatives against anyone who thinks with a "we are the world" attitude. The "us" and "we" to a conservative means us conservatives and we conservatives. They live, eat, drink conservatism, many are simply born and bread to be conservatives. Foxnews and talk radio live to exploit this hatred. Our president, like most is also caught up in this right wing exploitation. Listen to him when he talks or read his tweets, he talk with a talk radio dialect. He too seeks to exploit the divide. The idea of unity and one country smacks of liberalism to them and working along those lines makes trump look weak and we all know he doesn't want to look weak no matter what. SO DON'T GET ANGRY, AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO GET INTO A DISCUSSION WITH THEM, IT WON'T WORK. EVEN IF YOU SLIGHTLY CONVINCE THEM IN YOUR DIRECTION, FOXNEWS AND TALK RADIO WILL SCREW THEM UP ALL OVER AGAIN. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND OUR APPROACH TO IT HAS BEEN ALL WRONG.
