(22,124 posts)bill(s) is a no no, but they still have to say NO to everything else, but then they sure are at the feeding w/ the other vultures. I'm surprised that they are taking the money, being that there are some who are just going ahead and laying people off, w/o any funds from the stimulus bills, so they don't have to follow the law's direction if they take the stimulus funds, they have to retain the employees (don't lay off).
Libertarians in name only (LINO), because it sounds fancy and because they don't want to be known that they are basically republicans in reality.
It's time to call them out and nail them to the cross as to what they really stand for, no government, no social security, as well as none of the fail safes in place that government provides. Who will then take on that role that according to libertarians, government shouldn't do?
Private enterprise won't (greed), state governments won't (unable to for lack of adequate resources), etc. In short, the fail safes are simply too big to take on by any private or public enterprise, hence one of the federal government's primary roles is automatically defined by default.

(10,900 posts)I have no problems with any of those subsidies. We need to make the transition to electric transportation and fund renewable power.
However, I do have a problem with Elon's adolescent behavior and his poor treatment of his employees. He's the sole reason I would never buy a Tesla (and I've owned four electric cars so far)
