(1,965 posts)Last week I received a US Treasury check for $1200. Fortunately I do not need that $1200., so every penny will go to support key Democratic candidates. If you are able please do the same. I also intend to send a follow up you note to Trump stating my intention.

Fear factor.
The kind of thing we never do.
We could learn from these people.

(3,603 posts)Why are we so bad at messaging? Get with the program, Dem leadership. Trump has teed the ads up for us. Produce them!!

(6,309 posts)to see what Bloomberg comes up with.
I'm really hoping that he'll go dark.
Let the Biden ads be light and fluffy if that's what the DNC wants to do.
Let the PACs go down cold dirty. And irrefutably accurate.

I'm not sure that it makes sense to run ads now, but they are, so we are, and with COVID-19, now is the time to reveal Trump's incompetence.
If Bloomberg decides to hold off on his war chest until after the convention, that's fine - The Lincoln Project is working.

(17,376 posts)evil and absolute putrescence of Trump and today's GOP. In fact, I would find a light and fluffy approach disconcerting. We must not beat around the bush. Trump needs to be labeled what he is. Anything else will only make us look weak and ineffective.

(23,694 posts)that are not from the Lincoln project.
I think a candidate like Joe needs to have a few ads that are about him and his personality to provide a contrast.
However, anti Trump ads that emphasize all the horrid things from the past 3 years are just fine with me for say 3/4 of the ads

As COVID-19 becomes a mild concern, will this stay in people's minds? Yes, if someone you know died, but maybe not.
