She's a great candidate and being a military spouse makes a difference in a district with 2 bases.

After redistricting if Ike was still alive he wouldn't be eligible to run for that seat?
Ike was from Lexington. Lexington and all of Lafayette County, along with Saline County, are now in the Fifth. The Fifth is Cleaver's seat.
Imo, Lafayette and Saline should still be in the Fourth with Cass in the Fifth. Belton and Raymore are more like suburbs while only Odessa in Lafayette has any link to a more suburban area. Plus, Hartzler would be forced to run in the Fifth if Cass was included in that district.
