I think it's safe to assume that Genocide Don had his heart function thoroughly tested before starting this med (if he really is taking it) and is being monitored closely.

It is true that some medical people working on the front lines are experimentally taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative.

So, if he really is taking this drug, he is surely being monitored, and possibly might be protected.
