Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has asked the Trump administration to fully declassify an unusual email former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice sent herself regarding Michael Flynn on the eve of her departure, Politico reports.

Through a spokesperson, Rice said she welcomes the release of the email.

Biden is getting an A- with me. But I do not like what this feels like with professional women being considered for a very real and serious position. I have never seen Democrats do this with the Democratic VP pick in the past.

a cabinet position - or all of them? Of course, Biden (if he is stuck with Moscow Mitch in charge of the Senate) could do what Trump has done and make everyone acting to avoid confirmation hearings and votes.

29. Rice's experience is in foreign policy and national security, she has no legislative or executive

background. In my opinion Biden's VP choice will have to be a congresswoman, senator or a governor, someone who has won elections for both state and federal positions.

Susan Rice would be an excellent, though controversial, choice for SoS. Her confirmation would be difficult, given her history in the Obama administration. Biden could appoint her as NSA; National Security Advisor is appointed by the president and does not require confirmation by the Senate.

For what it's worth, my prediction for VP would be Michelle Lujan Grisham, the current New Mexico governor and a former US congresswoman. She's also of hispanic ancestry, a 12th generation native New Mexican. Sanders has stronger support among hispanics than Biden, Lujan Grisham could help Biden win in Arizona, Florida and Nevada, and could even flip Texas.

Hillary was not directly responsible for the actions taken that night and Susan Rice wasn't involved in coming up with the talking points she said the next day or so while still in the fog of war. A pandemic was clearly coming since february.
