Now I’m sure evangelistic Christians would be offended by this, but Trump could say that God was P.O. at some group in this country. Or that America was being punished because we didn’t finish the border wall. Or something else equally nonsensical.

4. No, he should CREDIT God for Covid. Evangelicals can twist anything into "God's Will".

That is what the whole Christian religion is based on.

God sent his only Son to walk among us, and we tortured and killed the poor guy.

To Christians, that is a good thing. So good, in fact, that it saved our collective souls and paved our road to everlasting eternal Paradise.

And they have been dining out on that story for two thousand years.
