My theory why Trump is antagonizing WHO and threatening to permanently pull out of the organization:

If WHO discovered, tested, and distributed a vaccine and/or a cure, it would make it available without a thought toward profit.

OTOH, Trump would like to hamper or prevent WHO from its mission before the U.S. can do the same thing. Why: to hold the vaccine/cure "hostage" to the goals of mega-profit by a pharmaceutical company that has promised a taste of the action to Trump.

That is EXACTLY the reason he won't have the US participe, he wants to profiteer of the vaccine. His minions have already put this out, that the vaccine would be vey expensive because the co. would have to recoup it's investment.
