Tara Reade lied about degree from Antioch University.

Reade told CNN that she received a bachelor of arts degree from Antioch University in Seattle under the auspices of a "protected program," personally working with the former president of the school to ensure her identity was protected while she obtained credits for her degree. She also said that she was a visiting professor at the school, on and off for five years.

Presented with this, Karen Hamilton, an Antioch University spokesperson, told CNN that "Alexandra McCabe attended but did not graduate from Antioch University. She was never a faculty member. She did provide several hours of administrative work."

An Antioch University official told CNN that such a "protected program" does not exist and never has.

She also stated another reason for being let go from Biden's office: she was let go due to a medical problem.

As Tara Reade was leaving her job at Joe Biden's Senate office in 1993, she told a close colleague that she believed she was being let go for an unfair reason -- that she was being terminated because of a medical issue she had been dealing with.

Of course, I have to strike the balance between having pity for a disturbed woman and watching Western Civilization brought to its knees with a Trump re-election, so there's that. I just hope someone intervenes and gets her the help she needs.

Mika harangued Joe with her incessant urging for him to call on the University of Delaware to allow a "name search" for Reade in Joe' massive collection of personal papers which are deposited there.

But if history is any guide, her name is going to keep popping up every few weeks for the rest of the year. It's good to keep ourselves reminded of the holes in the story, and prepared to push back.

Welcome to DU.

I've read that she has a law degree. Is this true? Getting into law school generally requires having a bachelor's degree.

... and in most cases, people don't care enough to actually run down the facts. And the more elaborate and detailed the lie, the more people are inclined to believe it. They get used to getting away with lies.

This is why it's important for reporters to evaluate a person's history of veracity when making claims that depend upon their credibility.

In short, we now now know she has a history of dishonesty.

Her story has fallen apart completely under examination. What bothers me is that others sought to use a clearly disturbed person for political reasons.
