Cohen met the guidelines for release. Manafort did not.

He seemed truly remorseful. I think he has paid a high price for getting involved with Trump and he knows it and admits it.

We can see that with the Republicans in the Senate. They are a perfect example of how Trump sucks people into worshipping him.

Trump Attorney Cohen in Solitary Confinement After Virus Release Bid Denied
Cohen asked for early release in March; a federal judge rejected the request in pointed terms
Published April 10, 2020 • Updated on April 10, 2020 at 12:29 pm

It took a federal judge just one week to reject his petition in scathing terms.

"That Cohen would seek to single himself out for release to home confinement appears to be just another effort to inject himself into the news cycle," Judge William Pauley wrote.

"Ten months into his prison term, it’s time that Cohen accept the consequences of his criminal convictions for serious crimes that had far reaching institutional harms," Pauley added.

to serve out their sentence under house arrest. If they were smart, they would do just that to the "t".
