Just Checking In With Some Political Commentary

I don’t really remember the first time that I came upon Marcus Johnson on Twitter. But, he was young, Black, and his droll commentary just cracked me up. Folks were all involved and upset about the Democratic Party Primary.

He did not move. He did not budge. He said it early and stuck with the following:
1. The Democratic Party Primary didn’t begin until South Carolina.
2. Whatever candidate won the South would win the nomination.

... until AA's vote in significant numbers. We should reform the primary schedule to make that happen sooner.

Fact is. I think they should all be held on the same day. Why should any state determine who you should vote for by ruling out your chance to vote for your candidate.

Can't recall the tweeter's name but she said that the Democratic Party's primary doesn't start until The Aunties have spoken. How true was that! If you recall, the pundits were already calling the primary season over after New Hampshire's results came in. Sanders had grabbed the nomination, they said in unison; it was over, done, fini!

LOL. Not quite. Not by a long shot. And the rest is history, as they say.

Thanks for the intro to Mr. Johnson, sheshe. Wise voice.

It was over when a white Iowa and NH spoke.

Poetic license here...

It ain't over until the black ladies sing.
