Seldom do I ever watch a full episode of Joe and Mika and Gang, but I do enjoy watching the intro to his show. He is always exposing Donald Trump. "I know you are watching, Donald", he has said.
Does Trump really watch Joe and Mika? (Well, he did attack them on Twitter yesterday.) Does he really switch off his favorite FOX Morning show to see what Joe Scarborough is saying about him?
Is he focused? Or is he distracted?
I usually switch over to John and Alysin after Joe's initial attack. They talk about other things that are happening in the world. They have been more thorough on coronavirus reporting, in my opinion.
But, it is interesting to watch the daily expose. Scarborough usually has video to back up his arguments against Trump.
Is this a real feud? Is Trump incapable of ignoring this type of reporting from Scarborough? Or is it that he likes to dish it out, but he can't take it? He calls everyone names. But, he cannot handle the least bit of criticism or negative reporting. He obsesses about it.
America. What a country!

(11,819 posts)I'm not sure exactly why. My guess is Joe wants to save the Republican party, not that he favors Democrats.

(35,454 posts)There is a bit of Karma at play here. First...she and Joe were very much on The Menace's side in the beginning and she stepped all over HRC every which way she could. Secondly, about the intern story...Mika has no problem with jumping all over men with no more proof than what there is for this story. There is the interview with JB and then there was the way she and Susan Del Percio ambushed Michael Wolfe on that show because of allegations someone made against him, which he tried to deny but wasn't really given a chance. Nothing came of the allegations.

What always gets left out of the dead intern story is that the circumstances were far more suspicious than the circumstances around Chandra Levy's death, which happened at about the same time. But the media made a frenzy about that. Few have heard of Lori Klausutis, but everyone got second-by-second coverage of the Levy disappearance.
Two congressmen, one smeared and left with a ruined career, one ignored and given a 7-figure tv career. One D, one R. Coincidence?

(11,078 posts)You remember, JoeScar? Back when you and the little missus would allow Trump to call in any time he wanted, and ramble on unchallenged on whatever silly subject he chose to talk about that day. Trump would always spend the entire (free political ad) time just making up stupid shit and mercilessly attacking Hillary, all while you and the entire MJ crew yucked it up with the lying scumbag.
