This is the beginning of a upward trend. If in a week or two restrictions are put back in place it’ll be too late and the upward trend will continue for a further couple of weeks. At best. Of course we’ll be seeing a lot of whitewashing taking place.

Of course that’s partly because of more testing but shouldn’t the daily new number of confirmed cases be going below 20K by now?

By the 2nd weekend in June we may be back over 30K/day nationally especially after a holiday weekend when everyone will be at gatherings despite the advice against it.

Better hope we have more tracing after testing.
