(10,429 posts)instead of those stupid Liberty commercials
I would only add at the end "too arrogant to learn". MF45's ignorance and stupidity are the only things missing.

(2,220 posts)except for one thing. I worked for that company for a couple years. It was the most bizarre, socially repressed place Ive ever worked in my life. All the men were like Mike Pence (OMG! A woman said hello to me! Im tainted!), and the women were frustrated misplaced 50s housewives. Anyone with an actual personality didnt last long there. I lasted longer than most just to make their lives miserable with my friendliness. Everyone was terrified of me. It has to be driving all of them insane to see their hallowed company advertising with..gasp..some warped attempt at..the sin of humor.

(17,912 posts)many do not. Many aren't blessed with the ability to recognize what they don't know. To have a firm grasp of their limitations.
One of the best bosses I ever had was thrust into a situation he wasn't prepared for. But luckily he understood his limitations well and we all worked together to make it successful. Some of the worst bosses I've ever had, and there have been several, had no idea what they didn't know and figured they wouldn't have risen to this point if they didn't know what they were doing. The Peter Principle. They didn't know what the hell they were doing and it was a disaster. And you really get tired of having to say I'm doing this under protest or let it be known...I did not agree with this decision. I feel for the rank and file at CDC. I really do. In a totally different field, I've been there and done that.

(17,912 posts)It's simply a case of deciding on what to cover.....soooo many choices.
But this still isn't going to be easy for Biden. It's a fight to the death. No quarter asked or given! All is fair game. Crush his orange ass!! Crush him!!

(1,305 posts)I want to see an ad that begins with Biden saying hes just plain dumb and then a super cut of a sampling of the many head-scratchingly dumb things Trump has said and done. The umbrella-at -the-planes-door incident, Trump squinting-at-the-sun, the it will just disappear quote. You can see how easy this ad would be to make. (Feel free to propose your own favorite Trump dumbisms.) And it gets to the core of Trumps greatest vulnerability.
Most people can see that he really is just plain dumb. Possessed of a certain cunning, yes, but still, dumb in a lot of ways. And even his base suspects it. For some of those, in fact, thats what they like about him; they figure theyre as smart as him, just not born with his advantages. I dont think you recover from your opponent calling you dumb when the proof is out there. The emperor wears no clothes and its time for Americas Favorite Uncle to say so.
And can you imagine how it would piss off Trump and outrage his snowflake supporters?
