I do gummint surveys, which means meeting people at their homes (when their homes have less chance of being a toxic stew)

One house had a distinct stench as you got closer, but I heard signs of life before calling the local authorities about a possible rotting corpse.

What came out of the house, though, was a naked middle-aged man with his gut hanging down to his knees. I was not in morbid fascination mode at the time, so I didn't send much time staring at his midsection. Except when he turned around and I saw a hint of fabric amongst the fleshy folds-- he was actually wearing underwear.
