what I posted on Facebook last night in time for Sunday church

For those of you who are going to church this Sunday, just wear a Trump hat in public so we know, that the rest of us can avoid you in order to protect ourselves. And in 3 weeks, we'll even let you wear your hat at your cremation.

....have announced resumption of services next Sunday. However, they have announced changes in seating arrangements, masks required, and other remedies to reduce transmission. They have also emphasized over and over that those who do not feel comfortable to come back to services, or who are ill, or at high risk, are respected for their decision to stay away. The services have been sent out over UTube, and will continue to do so. I really appreciate their attitude of acceptance. I will have to stay away indefinitely until a successful vaccine comes out. There has been no attitude of judgement or compulsion to join in the service. I think most churches are taking this approach.

Unfortunately, there are some who are so judgmental in all things that they give a bad name to religion in general.

In my posting I never told them not to go to church, just that I want to know if it they did so I could avoid them.

No one has yet challenged me on my FB posting; many people have supported me.

But if someone did challenge me, I might say something like:
While you might think your going to church is an 'act of faith', to put your brothers and sisters and the rest of our society at risk is hardly 'spiritual'. What you are really doing in the midst of a global pandemic is political action and we have every right to challenge your behavior.
