Attn. Michael Moore. We need interviews with former deniers who survived a rough illness.

Nothing will break through to the 8-30% of the jokers who congregate and refuse to wear masks (and some even like to cough on others), but many who are not so far in the Trump-bag, would be persuaded by interviews with survivors who had formerly denied the danger of Covid-19 and who had a nasty time in the hospital.

Why are there not more of these? Does the media frown on seeking out and airing these interviews because such practices are not "objective reporting"? (By the way, Fox does this sort of thing daily.)

Then why doesn't Lincoln Project or Michael Moore or someone find and interview these people? The media would cover it as a news story and some of these witless followers of Trump would wake up and start behaving and voting responsibly.

That's my two cents this morning.

that just the fact that it has been happening AND reported, but not in a big way, anyone would need more prodding to be upset about this.

Even on a good day, a day and time without pandemic worries, you would think there would be disgust and shunning of that kind of behavior.

I am not sure they will ever come around to being disgusted. All you have to do is watch them cheer each other on to know that it is a senseless movement back only by their "feelings", ya know, those things we have always been painted as babies because we have them?

of doing both.

And he know if Trump is reelected climate change will only get significantly worse.

And he fears Trump's possibility of reelection as he stated on Bill Mahler last Friday.

Moore needs to stand down. He's willing to provide talking points for the most
corrupt and evil forces in history, in order to elevate himself.

Anything on COVID coming from him would not reach the desired
target audience, in any case. He is not a trusted messenger, certainly
not on a message of health.

I recommend that folks who've decided Moore bashing is cool of late listen.

He's done and continues to do more for 'our' causes than anyone on this site will ever do - he's quite a cut above the Keyboard Commando Outrage Brigade.

every single issue that is important to Democrats from wage inequality to healthcare to gun control and beyond isn't our ally nor our friend.

If he's not worthy of our friendship, then who is? What national unelected figure has done more to bring those issues to the fore than Michael Moore?

Thus helping to elect George W Bush. He's always eager to shit on Democrats and to be as divisive as possible. He lives to be outraged and he can stay in the spotlight with Trump in charge. For 'progressives' like Michael Moore nothing Democrats accomplish is good enough or pure enough.

Here's Moore in the Mercer's right wing slander rag Breitbart attacking Joe Bide just three days ago:

Michael Moore Torches Biden: He Lacks ‘Necessary Enthusiasm’ to Beat Trump

https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2020/05/23/michael-moore-torches-biden-he-lacks-necessary-enthusiasm-to-beat-trump/

So no Michael Moore is not a friend to Democrats.

Right, not much of that around here.

Yeah, having worked on the issues for a lifetime has taught Moore that the system is rigged beyond fixing by those we elect over and over and he'd prefer to have someone like Sanders rather than doing the same things over and over again (like lots of other people in this country) - many of the films he's made and books written were created during the Clinton/Gore and Obama/Biden terms so he's seen first hand that Democrats don't always do enough to solve some of the most basic, pressing problems facing America.

He has never, ever supported or endorsed a Republican for anything and has done nothing but fight against their policies.

And as far as Biden lacking enthusiasm (the url starts with 'breitbart.com/entertainment but I'll play), after the headline it reads:

"Biden does not generate the necessary enthusiasm that it’s going to take to get people out,” Moore told Vanity Fair‘s Tom Kludt in a recent interview. “The Democrats are cynically counting on everyone’s desire to remove Trump.”

And he's right. Most people will not be voting for Biden, they'll be voting against Trump. Just like in 2016 a great many people didn't vote for Trump or (especially) Stein, they voted against Hillary.
