Police officers in black neighborhoods

I bet that in suburban predominantly white town/neighborhoods the police officer who patrol the area are part of the town and community..they know the people and are their neighbors....they see the people as equals

In predominantly black towns/Neighborhoods regardless if they are rural or urban most cops don’t live there...they drive in from the suburbs, they are outsiders and see themselves that way too...they are probably a cop in that town only until something else opens up in their preferred neighborhood/town...they see the people in the towns they patrol as inferior

I guess my point in that rant was to say that I would like to see more police officers actually live in the towns/neighborhoods they patrol

1. Great idea,but

Cities have past ordinances in the past to require their Officers live within the City Limits,but,Police Unions have successfully litigated these laws and rules as a freedom of movement and Home ownership.
