The NY Times said today (can't find the exact article) that the real number of fatalities is closer to 130,000. (adding deaths not yet counted as COVID) Since it looks like a large chunk of America (not to mention the President) has decided that the virus threat either ended this weekend or will do so on June 1st, I can't see anything but a rise in cases and a growing list of death.

I am sure Trump will still claim that is a victory and GOP know nothings will still say it isn't as bad as people not working.

We are truly fucked.

If we had real leadership, examining the problem and pledging to LEAD the world in a collective response to this threat to ALL mankind, then this pandemic, and more importantly the NEXT one to come eventually, may have led to something productive and good in place of chaos and death that we are in the midst of now...
