Trumps Frontotemporal Dementia symptoms include arm jerking, torso pitching, vision & balance issues. He sways & turns oddly bc its easier than feet shifting & rebalancing. His peripheral vision is shot. He cant turn his head w/o losing balance.

(13,776 posts)For personal reasons I hate the way dementia is sometimes used about Trump as a funny insult. Its tragic. But when its taken seriously, its important to honestly consider the possibility that the POTUS is developing it. The way he stands and moves is WEIRD. Even if its just because of a diaper or a girdle, its time to make fun of him the way he makes fun of everyone else. He will hate that so much.

He is responsible for 100,000 + DEAD AMERICANS...so far, and he ain't done yet.
We do not need to stay to the end of this movie to know it is a total disaster and should have NEVER been made in the first place...

(23,975 posts)...alignment with my hip joints. Even if I push my shoulders forward as far as they will go, my hands are still in contact with my body. Only if I bend noticeably forward at the waist will my arms dangle freely in front of me, and it feels quite uncomfortable.

(6,679 posts)A cousin is a stroke survivor and moves in similar fashion. He doesn't have any dementia. The man is just as sharp as ever.
An acquaintance suffers vertigo and moving similarly was a learned habit to help combat that. It mostly works.
This said, we all know he's not right in the head. The cause doesn't matter to me. He's unfit for office... any office.
