(13,867 posts)To get on the grounds of our Gov mansion you have to get over a 10 foot steel barrier with spiky things on top and then elude cameras, alarms and armed State police.
Still, someone should have stopped them, with force if necessary.

(2,517 posts)in Atlanta, the governor's mansion is fenced off with 2 GA State Troopers at all the entrances. You can protest on the streets in front but wouldnt get closer than at about 100 yards.
REALLY surprised that the KY security/police let those protesters get that close!!

(509 posts)The governor's mansion in Kentucky doesn't have any barriers at all. You can literally walk up to the front door. It's inexcusable though that the State Police didn't stop them from walking up to the front door! This needs to change immediately!

Not that the criminals understand that.
