This is a follow up to my post on Memorial Day. As you may recall, my sister-in-laws husband decided to sell the Flag that draped the coffin of my husbands father from the burial service at Arlington in an attempt to get my husband to turn over his IRA to his sister. Well my son was so livid he drove 5 hours to meet up with us (his parents) and we road tripped 14.5 hours to knock on the door of my in-laws home and enter with a single purpose . . . to get the Flag. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We face a daunting 14.5 hour drive home (19 for my son), but in the end we stopped the SOB from selling the priceless family heirloom! I cried on Monday when we were told the Flag was sold, and Im crying now that we got it back. Oh Happy Day!!!! Thanks to all who commented, your messages helped me through this ordeal!
