Twitter says Trumps THUGS tweet about protests violated standards by glorifying violence

"SNIP.....
Hours after President Trump condemned the Minneapolis protesters as THUGS and suggested there would be shooting if looting continued, Twitter announced that it had flagged one of Trumps tweets for glorifying violence.
The action came shortly after Trump signed an executive order on Thursday that could punish social media companies for how they police content.
The presidents tweet flagged by Twitter was sent around 1 a.m. Friday, as Trump showed his disdain toward the demonstrators who breached a police precinct to protest the death of George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for minutes.

will continue to tweet if Trumps quits Twitter. He'll find some right wing portal to the web to post his nonsense at and Twitter will look good. And people will continue to go to twitter to discuss things.

(9,426 posts)breaking windows was WHITE. Those hate groups have come in to instigate more violence. Is tRump sending his violence message to HIS followers? What a disgusting example for a so-called president to make. Where was he when armed WHITE thugs went into the Michigan State Capitol building, threatening violence? Those "very fine people" were dangerous, too.
