Actually, Chauvin worked outside and Floyd inside, according to the owner in another report I read on DU.

is a recipe for police corruption. Not unimaginable that Floyd knew something.

I think that's been repeated to me endless times. Violence prevention workshops. Safety orientation during college (I went to an urban university near a then-economically depressed neighborhood).
You're more likely to be raped, abused or murdered by someone you know than a random stranger. I think stats on muggings vary, but anecdotally I remember a friend who ran into the very group of kids that attempted to rob him and found they lived in his neighborhood.
