I am not a fan of Chuck Todd, but he was right when he said to Katy Tur “Trump is scared and doesn’t know what to say about the killing of George Floyd & he scared to answer questions to the press”. Trump maybe scared, but he’s a coward especially after his tweet about “looting leads to shooting”. This country is hurting and our president is not thinking of the violence, he is thinking of how it will affect himself.

Only new things was him blaming China for COVID-19 even though most other countries were also “misled” and yet the US leads in per capita infection rate. Certainly Lord Littlehands likes to pass himself off as the meanest, toughest SOB on the block, but the reality is that when there's hard work to be done or a tough call to make, Trump pulls a disappearing act. It's generally not been noticed by a lot of political commenters, for whatever reason. For chucktodd to say that Trump is "scared" augurs a major falling away of the scales on the eyes.

That is if there is follow-through, and this is not just a one-off on a Friday afternoon.

Because the man is inept and unable to feel anything beyond his own dissatisfaction. He's loathe to make a comment because he's loathe to take accountability. He throws out red meat to his base hoping that's enough.

All Trump is thinking about is how this effects him, his reelection.
