BAKERSFIELD, Calif. The driver caught on video speeding through the crowded protest taking place in front of the Bakersfield Police Headquarters in Downtown Bakersfield Friday has been arrested, according to BPD.
Video captured the driver speeding through the crowded street once as protesters tried to get out of the way. Then moments later the car is shown driving through the crowd again in the opposite direction.
BPD officials said a female was hit and suffered minor to moderate injuries.
BPD is still investigating. Officials are considering DUI, and possible assault or attempted murder charges.

sounds about right. Driving down protesters going one way and then turning around and doing it again.
