PresiDented Trump is saying: "Listen, it's like Florida's governor says, Governor DeSantis, a really great guy, and an awesome governor, he says we've counting tens of thousands ordinary flu and pneumonia deaths as Covid deaths . . . And Democrats have been encouraging that because they want me to lose. . . . So like there's really been less than 200 Covid deaths, . . . but of course you in the fake news media will never report that, will you?"

Above CAPTION based on a Tampa Bay Times item speculating on DeSantis's radical undercount:

(17,663 posts)Florida has a Republican Governor, a Republican House, a Republican Senate, Republican appointed Supreme court and has had for over a decade, yet the Democrats are over-reporting Covid deaths. It is far more likely that thousands of Covid related deaths have been reported as Pneumonia, instead of Covid.
To accept Trump's suggestion would be to say that although the Republicans hold all of the power of state government, that the crooked Democrats control the message. How is that supposed to work? Why don't the Republicans just take it the final step and say that all deaths are caused by heart failure, therefore Covid has killed no one, which would make more sense then the present argument.
