Guess he thought it was worth a shot since he had so much "time to kill"........literally.

It’s hard to tell whether he has his hand in his pocket or just resting on his thigh.

Watching earlier, he's pulling on black gloves. I think it just looks like he has his hands in his pockets because the color of the gloves matches his pants (so what looks like the edge of his pants pockets is really the edge of his gloves).

Actually worse, because I think he was using it to further torque the pressure on that poor man’s neck. I saw that video twice. I just cannot watch it. It was intentional murder. Something is very wrong with that ex-cop.

It was definitely on his thigh and not his pocket.

His eyes really told it all, crazed and evil. He knew what he was doing and dared anyone to stop him.

Had a few people study the video again and look closely and they said they saw that and it hadn’t occurred to them but upon watching closer that was what he was doing.

He DELIBERATELY was trying to apply as much possible pressure to George Floyd’s neck...

that it is a known technique to increase the pressure that you are already applying with your knee.
At the very least, it is clear that there is more pressure/weight when the hands are up, maybe even pressing down, instead of them being on the ground or the body which would distribute the weight. I'd assume for balance issues, it'd be more comfortable to use your hands when you are in such a position.
